Sam & Mark’s pre-Wedding Portraits

Sunday 1st November:

The weather was wild today!

But thankfully the rain cleared away early afternoon for Sam and Mark’s pre-wedding portrait session. The sun even came out, fantastic for the colours this time of year. Sam and Mark are getting married later this year at the small and intimate Fifield Church Oxfordshire and following at Cripps Barn, near Bibuy Gloucestershire.

Just back from a few days holiday with my family, staying in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. I did manage to sneek out on a couple of mornings to grab a few shots of Shanklin Beach……

Jessica & Andrew – pre-Wedding Portraits

Saturday 24th October:

This morning I met up with Jessica and Andrew at The Oxfordshire Golf Club, near Thame, in Oxfordshire, to have a look around their Wedding venue and discuss the detail of their Wedding Photography. With the weather looking OK, we then nipped over to the village of Brill for a pre-Wedding Portrait session at the Windmill. But alas we didn’t get too long before the squally showers piled in, but we did manage to get one dramatic shot in the mist and the windmill, before all getting a bit too wet…..

Lucie – Portrait session in Chipping Norton

Saturday 17th October:

This morning I travelled to Chipping Norton to shoot a portrait session for Lucie. We met up near Bliss Mill, which is a former Victorian Tweed Mill and now a luxury apartment development. The Mill provided a great backdrop for the shoot. This portrait session was organised to get Lucie some shots for her Myspace music page and for the cover of her debut CD she is planning to release in the near future.

Kate – Love MY Dress photoshoot

Sunday 10th October:

After waiting patiently for this morning’s horrible drizzly rain to disappear, I shot a “Love MY Dress” photoshoot with Kate. We used a couple of locations including the listed and fabulous Cote Chapel, which complimented Kate’s Victoria Gothic dress perfectly.

Sian & Marks Wedding at Milton Hill House Hotel

Saturday 3rd October:

I was near Abingdon today to cover Sian & Mark ’s Wedding at the splendid Devere Milton Hill House Hotel, Steventon, near Abingdon, South Oxfordshire. Sian wore a fabulous white dress with contrasting red back panel and carried a matching red bouquet.

We were lucky with the weather (no rain) but a fair bit of wind to contend with, which is always fun…..

Chloe & Oliver’s Wedding at Poundon House, Bicester

Saturday 26th September:

Today’s I was near Bicester in Oxfordshire at Poundon House covering Chloe & Oliver’s Wedding. Poundon House is privately owned and has a slightly unusual set up for the ceremony, which takes place in a doorway! Civil ceremonies in the UK must be held under a permanent roof. This allows a semi outside Wedding, as the guests are in a marquee attached to the back of the house. After the Champaigne reception on the lawn the Wedding breakfast takes place in a large marque in the grounds.

Susan & Jerome’s Wedding in Somerset

Thursday 24th September:

I’ve just got back from a lovely couple of days down in Somerset covering a friends mid-week Wedding. Susan and Jerome were married at the fabulous 15th Century All Saints Church in Selworthy and following the reception was held at the Ship Inn in Porlock. We stopped on route to the reception at the famous Allenford Packhorse Bridge for a few shots. Susan is from Canada and definately brought the fine weather with her, after the reception we nipped down to Porlock Weir to get some dramatic evening shots by the sea. There was even a “Dell Boy” van…. Sorry Jerome I just had to get that shot!!…..

James’s Christening at Trinity College Oxford

Sunday 20th September:

Back into Oxford today to cover James’s Christening at the beautiful Trinity College, Oxford. After a lovely service in Trinity College Chapel and a champagne reception held in the quad, we shot a few group photos. The meal was held in the main dining hall. Congratulations James on your special day……
