Graeme & Kay’s Wedding at St. Mary’s Church, Witney, Oxfordshire

Saturday 21st January

It was a bit wild & windy on Saturday for Graeme & Kay’s Wedding and my first Wedding of 2012. I met up with Kay and her bridesmaids at Robert John hairdressers in Chipping Norton early in the morning to catch-all the hair preparations…. Then back to their house in Chipping Norton for all the final prep and details shots before heading off to St. Mary’s Church, Witney for a lovely warm and fun Wedding Ceremony (and bar of Toblerone!). Graeme & Kay’s photos as well as a few formal photos were taken in the grounds of the church before they headed off in a beautiful vintage Bently for their evening reception at Hawkwell House Hotel in Oxford

Rebecca & John’s pre-Wedding Portraits

Monday January 2nd:

First outdoor shoot of the year and it was a lovely afternoon to meet up with Rebecca & John for their pre-Wedding shoot. They are getting married later this year at St Peter’s College Oxford where they both met and graduated. The Reception will take place at the lovely Bay Tree Hotel in Burford Oxfordshire. Looking forward to your Wedding later this year, a few images from a fun hour….

Kirtlington Polo Club Wedding Album

Monday 9th January 2012:

One of the many Wedding albums that I produced in time for Christmas was from Lucy & James stunning Wedding at All Saints Church Middleton Stoney & Kirtlington Polo Club.

Today I received these lovely words (thank you ever so much…), so I thought I’d share these with a few images of their Perfetto Wedding Album & Parent Album set:

“From the first moment we met Neil at our pre-wedding shoot, we both were made to feel very relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. Many of the photos taken complimented the skills of the photographer; Neil has a fantastic eye for detail and many of the photos of our wedding are simply stunning. A key factor that we did not want on our special day was a bossy photographer, and Neil felt like another member of our guest list – at no point did we feel like we were ushered away from our guests, the day was seamless, and Neil was curtious and “non-invasive” throughout. So many of our friends have since commented on fantastic photos that they simply did not know had been taken. The resulting photos are perfect, and the fantastic photo album will be an amazing record for the rest of our lives. We smile every time we open the Front cover!
One key point for all to remember – find a photographer that makes you feel relaxed and not wooden. We are so glad that we chose Neil, and have been singing his praises since our day in July.”

Neil – thank you for all of your work before, during and after the wedding. You were fantastic!  The photos you took were amazing, a great gift, and something that will be treasured for many years to come.

2011 a year in Pictures

Wow 2011 has just flown by…… Having a chance to look back through all my images from the past year, which to be honest I rarely get the chance, and it has reminded me of all the amazing Weddings I got to witness. Smiles, laughter, celebrations and bundles of love. Here are just a few of my favourite images, so many memories….. I could have selected loads but I had to stop somewhere!

I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge Thank You, to all of you who made 2011 ever so special. I am already very excited about 2012 and I have many gorgeous Weddings to look forward to.

Lucy & Richard’s Pre-Wedding Portraits

Sunday 27th November:

Just catching up with  my Blog after a manic few December weeks. I met up with Lucy & Richard on a lovely Sunday morning at the end of November in Minster Lovell to shoot their pre-Wedding portraits and have along chat about their wedding plans. Lucy & Richard are getting married at the lovely Caswell House, near Witney Oxfordshire next year, which is almost on my doorstep. Lisa & Andrew’s pre-Wedding Portraits at The Swan Hotel, Bibury

Saturday 26th November:

A little trip into Gloucestershire and I met up with Lisa & Andrew to talk about their Wedding Plans last Saturday morning. They are getting married at the beautiful Swan Hotel in the centre of Bibury, Gloucestershire and this is where they also chose to shoot their pre-Wedding Portraits session as well. Lisa & Andrew don’t live near Bibury, but holiday often there, so it was top of their Wedding Venue locations when they got engaged.

Melissa & Alistair’s Wedding at Lains Barn, Wantage, Oxfordshire

Friday 11th November 2011:

I was heading over to Wantage in the morning and the weather was so grey, damp, dull & misty….. thinking…. what better way to brighten up the day than to be privileged enough to cover a beautiful Wedding at Lains Barn!

I met up with Melissa at the lovely Steventon House Hotel, near Didcot in the morning, before making the short journey to the lovely Lains Barn, near Wantage for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Alistair is a massive Beatles fan so we just had to incorporate an album cover or two! After a lovely warm ceremony, I took Melissa & Alistair for a few shots inthe grounds of Lains Barn befor everyone settled into the speeches and Wedding Breakfast….
